During this season of my life I’m seeing just how much God is faithful. In looking at where He has brought me from, I see the hand of God on my life and just how much His faithfulness has been proven in my life.
A friend recently sent me some old pictures of myself from the phase of my life when I was entering marriage. When I see myself, I see a young woman who could barely imagine the amount of change and growth God was about to bring into her life. I see the fruit that God has brought forth in me now, and I see that God’s strength was enough for me.

In today’s post, I want to encourage you to keep going in God. I want to encourage you to keep moving forward. Those places that you once thought you could never get to, will one day seem like an old version of you. On my journey so far with the Lord, I’ve discovered some very valuable lessons for seeing God’s faithfulness in my life:
Don’t give up
“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.” Psalms 138:8 NJKV
During our walk with the Lord we have to continuously remember that it’s God who is at work within us. He’s given us His Spirit and His grace to help us walk toward the ultimate image of Christ. We don’t have to make ourselves into that image. We are being transformed as we renew our minds. We are walking toward Christ, as we allow God to do the work in us. It will be a natural by-product that we manifest more fruit as we abide in Him.
In this walk, I want to encourage us not to give up because in that same way, God will perfect that which concerns us. In those pictures, I see a young woman who in her heart didn’t think she could be a wife because she didn’t have any godly examples of marriage around her. I see a young woman who would soon find out she needed way more healing and soulical deliverance than she thought she did. She had (and still has) a lot of growing to do.
The testimony in all of this is that, even though I felt and thought all those things back then, God is so faithful that I don’t even struggle with those things anymore.
Trust In The Lord
Just as I’ve been delivered and healed from a lot of things, I’m continuing to believe that God will do so much more in my life. I’m choosing to believe that God is faithful because He said that He is.
I want to encourage you to trust in the Lord, because whatever you’re believing God for will certainly come to pass. Look at all that He’s done already! Look at how far you’ve come!
